From an early age, George Evan developed a deep fascination with the social and anthropological dimensions of photography, alongside a keen interest in the mechanics of building cameras and mastering light. Driven by a desire to use storytelling through the lens to make a meaningful impact, he has dedicated his career to creating imagery that leaves the world better than he found it.
After studying at the Brooks Institute of Photography, George was mentored by the legendary David LaChapelle and went on to collaborate with renowned artists such as Annie Leibovitz, Walter Iooss, Yu Tsai, Mark Seliger, John Russo, Ruven Afanador, Vanina Sorrenti, and Jill Greenberg.
George has shared his expertise by teaching workshops for Adobe and Lomography, and he has been sponsored by Capture One and partnered with Leica Cameras for a portrait studio series. Based in both Los Angeles and New York, he works with a diverse range of clients, including international fashion and beauty brands, sports teams, tech startups, and non-profits.
Equally skilled in orchestrating large-scale production campaigns and capturing intimate, artistic portraits, George aims to create iconic, memorable imagery. His extensive technical knowledge, vast experience, and collaborative approach ensure the highest quality results on every project.
